We need a new story.

Our current story, the story of separation -- from each other, from the Earth, and from our own bodies -- is the source of untold amounts of personal and collective suffering the world over. This disembodiment is profoundly disempowering. When we are cut off from each other, from our bodies and the earth, we are cut off from our agency.

Coming home to the body: inhabiting the story of union

In a world of uncertainty and fear, we can come home to the body and learn to cultivate stability and resiliency as an act of resistance. Though we (especially us westerners) have been taught to fear and be at war with the body, it is actually one of the only “things” we can trust. Ultimately, our body leads us back to the earth and back to love.

This virtual weekend intensive will explore paths to re-embodiment in four two-hour interactive online modules over the course of two days. Each module will include a brief talk and discussion followed by contemplative and meditative practice. Sessions will be recorded and available to participants for individual use as they integrate these practices into their lives.
